Dreams End - Letter to Our Guests

To Our Guests,

First, know that you are now, have always been, and will always be our top priority.

We've dedicated our lives to creating beautiful, transcendent experiences in unique spaces, many of which have never been used before.

We have had some incredible successes, and those of you who have been with us for years have experienced this. And yet, in the course of pursuing our vision, we sometimes find ourselves at the mercy of circumstances beyond our control.

Heavy Weather

The frequency and severity of heavy weather is increasing, and special events around the world are being affected by this.

The storm affected our event this weekend and the venue made a number of decisions that were beyond our control.

We too were disappointed by the cancellation on Saturday night and the early closure of the hospital on Friday night.

Please know that the hospital was fully permitted, had passed inspection, was well within permitted capacity, and was operating under the supervision of the FDNY, who, to the best of our knowledge, did not order any closure of the hospital. At this time, this is the only statement we can make about this..

Again, this was disappointing  to us, and we regret that some of you did not get the full experience we had intended.

What We Are Doing For Our Guests

Those of you who held tickets for Saturday night will be issued full refunds. We are working with our ticketing partner today to initiate this process as soon as possible. If you held a ticket order for Saturday night, you will be contacted shortly.

For those of you who attended on Friday night and were disappointed with your experience, it is important that we hear from each and every one of you. Please write to remember@howdidourdreamsenduplikethis.com with an account of your evening. (If you have already contacted us, thank you for being proactive. There is no need to write again.)

We are all in this together.

We, as always, are honored and humbled by the intensity of emotion and enthusiasm you have for these events. They are not possible without the trust and support of our friends, community, and guests.

We apologize to you for delivering anything less than you hoped for. Our entire team was truly excited for you to experience the fullness of what we built.

Having said all of this, Friday night was still an incredible experience for many. Photos from the event can be found here: howdidourdreamsenduplikethis.com

As challenging as it is to build extraordinary experiences in New York City, we remain absolutely dedicated to creating nights that are as full of life as the city that we love.

Sincerely,

The team behind How Did Our Dreams End Up Like This
